Main logs recorded in Hole 1229A. a) Hole shape from the caliper log; b) Natural gamma-ray; c) Concentrations in Uranium, Thorium and Potassium derived from gamma ray spectrometry; d) Ratio of the thorium to uranium concentrations. High values indicate sediments of terrigenous origin. e) Resistivity at three depths of investigation; f) Density; g) Porosity. The density and porosity logs can be compared with the discrete measurements made on core samples (grey circles).
