Geophysical logs through Paleocene nannofossil chalk in Hole 1260B (a) and clayey nannofossil chalk in Hole 1258C (b). Note the cyclic fluctuations in the gamma ray (MGT) and porosity logs. FMS images also show well developed cycles exemplified in (b).
